1970 - Trained as a teacher at Chiswick Polytechnic, London
1987 - Took a B.A. Hons in Fine Art, followed by Post Graduate Diploma in Printmaking, University of Ulster.

Work experience includes teaching children, teaching Art in Prison Service and working as a technician in the Printmaking Dept, University of Ulster.

1997 - 2002 - Served on Board of Trustees, the Belfast Print Workshop.

An active member of the Print workshop and work has been regularly been exhibited in Ireland, USA, China and Europe.
