Brian Ferran
Trained as a teacher at St. Joseph's and St. Mary's Colleges of Education, Belfast, 1959-63, Brian Ferran taught art before joining the staff of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland in 1996. In 1969 he won a Leverhulme European Award to study the visual arts in Bera Academy, Milan where he spent a year 1970-1. He has exhibited extensively in Ireland, Britain, the Continent and the USA. His work is represented in An Chomhairle Ealaion, the Arts Centre, the University of Ulster, Queen's University, the Ulster Arts club and the Ulster Museum.
