David Evans
The son of the distinguished geographer Professor Emyr Estyn Evans, David Evans went to school in Belfast and was trained as an architect at Liverpool University. He became a lecturer in the School of Architecture, Queen's University, Belfast. He shares with most of his family a love of painting, mainly in watercolour. His main subject matter is the landscape and townscape of Belfast and Ulster. Queen's University commissioned a watercolour by David Evans of the Lanyon Building for their 150th anniversary.
