Harry Reid BA HRUA
I was trained and educated in the mid-1950's as an engineering designer at the College of Technology, Belfast and in a career change in the mid-1960's I also qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and subsequently graduated Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ulster in the mid-nineteen eighties I grew up in Stranmillis and my association with the world of art began in 1983 when I submitted paintings to the committee of the RUA Association for adjudication for membership and was elected that year. I was elected a member of the RUA in 1993 and was Secretary and Registrar from 1993 until 2001.
