R Taylor Carson
Taylor Carson studied at the Belfast College of Art. He concentrated on the human figure as his main subject matter. Working as an unaccredited War Artist for the United States Air Force in Northern Ireland, he recorded the daily activities of the American troops during 1943-45. He has held one-man shows in London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, New York, Chicago and San Antonio and has been a regular exhibitor at the RUA, the RHA. Carson has lived in Donegal for many years, spending part of each year abroad, particularly in Spain.
