Patric Stevenson

Born 1909; died 1983
The son of a former Rector of Rathlin and Dean of Waterford, Patric Stevenson was educated at the Methodist College, Belfast. He attended the Belfast School of Art 1926-28 and the Slade. He held his first exhibitions in Belfast in 1936 and 1937. An obsessive collector of documentation, his scrapbooks of newspaper cuttings are a mine of information. He also wrote poetry.
